The Columbus Elementary School Library offers an extensive collection of over 7,000 books. Every year, the proceeds from the Scholastic Book Fair at Columbus are used to purchase new books and update our library book inventory.

The library is staffed with a part-time Library Assistant who is available to help teachers and students. Each class at Columbus is given an opportunity to visit the school library once per week. Students may check out up to two books per visit, provided they have returned the book(s) from the previous week. Lost or damaged library books must be replaced at the student's expense.

Parent/guardian volunteers are always welcome to help in the library. Parents interested in volunteering in the Columbus Library may contact Ms. Gia Alparaz.
